YFALS Corntoss Challange - ATL's Fundraising Page
In memory of David Peter Wong
Friends and Family,
On April 23rd in Atlanta, Caroline and I will be competing in the YFALS National Corntoss Challenge to find an effective treatment for ALS. The event, coordinated by my lovely sister Samantha, is in its second year and she has set a goal to raise 15k. We would appreciate your support to help us set another record for her this year!
This May will be 7 years since my father passed away from ALS. After being diagnosed in 2007, his continued perseverance, un-breakable attitude, and signature humor made it easier on his family and closest friends as they slowly watched him slip away over the three years he fought the disease. Today we reflect on the profound effect he had on our lives and the lives of so many others. Every dollar donated helps the ALS Therapy Development Institute get one step closer finding a cure. ALS is not an incurable disease. It is an underfunded one.
Thank you for your support and wish us luck in the tournament!
