Bobby was diagnosed with ALS on December 23, 2014 though started showing symptoms in May. Bobby graduated from Salve Regina University in May 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in social work. Originally hailing from Beverly, MA, Bobby has lived all over the country. He is an avid cyclist, sailor, surfer, and adventurous. Bobby proposed to the love of his life Casey Stotz while marching in one of his favorite Mardi Gras parades. They were married in June 2015 with their dog Zulu by their side.
Bobby is a tinkerer/maker by nature and has truly fallen in love with 3-D printing. He is using 3-D printing to help make adaptive devices and robotic arms to help people in their fight against ALS. In addition to this tech that Bobby is passionate about, he is also very passionate about the ALS Therapy Development Institute and all of the work that they are doing. Bobby initially met with some of the people at the Institute prior to his diagnosis but says he felt a huge sense of relief knowing that he had such an incredible team working for him and everyone else fighting ALS.
